In this midcentury home I reconfigured the cramped kitchen and redundant dining nook into an open and functional kitchen layout. The design included new appliances, simple and modern maple cabinetry, ceramic backsplash tile and counters and shelving featuring bright pops of colored laminate. The new layout includes and a more convenient eat-in counter overlooking the park across the street.
